About AR Gardening Services

AR Garden Services is a Mumbles/Swansea based gardening business recently set up in August 2018 by Aldous Roberts, a former charity worker. I recently left the charity sector, where I worked with disabled and disadvantaged people, often supporting individuals with a wide range of needs including learning difficulties, and mental health issues. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to support and train many individuals who, in their own words, felt positive about our work together and went on to have more enriched life experiences. I loved this work, and the people I met, but there came a time when I began to look for fresh challenges. Today, I am focused on this new venture. Before my time in the charity sector I had many years of experience in gardening and horticulture and am now able to offer a broad range of services that aim to manage, maintain or improve your garden and green spaces.

​

Working in the charity sector for the last 6 years and have a diverse range of previous experience in other roles. My roles as a trainer & supervisor I have gained experience working within environmental and horticulture projects .  I have worked on many projects over the years and some of the projects were ground maintenance and landscaping, fencing , turfing, path construction and much more. I am licensed in Chainsaw use and Pesticide application and have experience in woodland management and horticulture. I am also licensed for green waste carrying and disposal, and fully insured. 

With a strong work ethic and pride in the business of doing the best quality of work. Proven and reliable and honest individual who is dedicated to providing a competitive and professional service.
